Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What could one person say to stop a group doing something very wrong?"

Listen to the opening of Omar Hisham Al Arabi's Yusuf, from his own channel.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where did one brother suggest putting Yusuf?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it important to speak up in a group?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 10. One brother spoke against killing Yusuf. His idea was still wrong, but it saved Yusuf's life. Allah had a plan even here. In our groups, one voice saying 'stop' can make a big difference.

Ages 5–8: Speak up. Practise saying 'Let's not do that' kindly but clearly.

Ages 9–12: One voice. Write about a time someone speaking up stopped something bad.

Finish with: "Some old wells are ___ metres deep."
