4-I guide
This ayah teaches us to ask Allah's protection from envy, when someone wishes another person would lose the good things they have.
Start with bismillah.
Give two children a treat, but give one of them a bigger piece (then share it out fairly!). Ask: "How did it feel when someone else got more?"
Watch the short video of a tiny cleaner fish swimming right into a shark's mouth to clean its teeth. The tiny fish and the huge shark help each other instead of fighting.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What feeling is this ayah talking about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people sometimes feel jealous?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Falaq is surah 113. Find ayah 5, the last ayah of the surah. Count all the things we ask protection from, from ayah 2 to ayah 5.
Fact: How do cleaner fish and big fish both get something good from a "cleaning station" on a coral reef?
Ages 5–8: Make a "happy for you" card for someone who has something good: a new baby in the family, a prize, a new bike. Write or draw: "MashaAllah, I'm happy for you!"
Ages 9–12: Feelings journal. Write about a time you felt jealous. What happened? What did you do? What could you try next time?
Finish with: "I found that jealousy feels like ___, and ___ helps."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I feel jealous, I will ___, and I will share ___ with ___."
Action: Practise your plan every time jealousy comes this week.
