4-I guide
This ayah teaches us to ask Allah to protect us from any harm that can come from the things He created.
Start with bismillah.
Show pictures of a hedgehog, a cactus, a bee and a hot cooking pot. Ask: "Which of these could hurt you? Are they bad, or just things we need to be careful with?"
Watch the short video of the tiny strawberry poison dart frog. Why do you think it is so brightly coloured?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah ask Allah to protect us from?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah create things that can hurt?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Falaq is surah 113. Find ayah 2. Notice that it starts a list. How many things are in the list, from ayah 2 to ayah 5?
Fact: Why do some animals and plants have bright warning colours, stings or spines? Look up the poison dart frog or the stinging nettle.
Ages 5–8: Safe or careful? Sort picture cards into three piles: "safe to touch", "be careful" and "don't touch". Talk about each one.
Ages 9–12: Nature's warnings. Look up three creatures that protect themselves (with stings, spines, poison or warning colours). For each one, write how it warns others to stay away.
Finish with: "I found that the ___ warns others by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I go out, I will ask Allah for protection and remember this safety rule: ___."
Action: Practise your plan every time you go out this week.

Never touch wild animals, insects or plants you don't know. Look with your eyes only.
