4-I guide
The last ayah of Surah Al-Ikhlas teaches that there is nothing at all like Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Show a twig next to a picture of a stick insect. Ask: "Which is the stick and which is the insect? How can you tell?"
Watch the short video about leaf insects. Their bodies look so much like leaves that it's hard to spot them!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "In nature, many things look like other things. What does this ayah tell us about Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can I imagine what Allah is like?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ikhlas is surah 112. Find ayah 4, the last ayah. Now count: how many ayat does the whole surah have?
Fact: How does looking like a leaf or a stick keep an insect safe?
Ages 5–8: Look-alike pairs. Find things that look alike: two leaves, two pebbles, a stick insect and a twig (in pictures). Then find one tiny difference in each pair.
Ages 9–12: Mimicry research. Pick two creatures that look alike, such as a hoverfly and a wasp. How are they alike? How are they different?
Finish with: "I found that ___ looks like ___ but is different because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will recite Surah Al-Ikhlas at ___ and think about what it means, with ___."
Action: Keep to your plan all week, and tick it off each day.
