4-I guide
This ayah mentions Abu Lahab's wife, described as a carrier of firewood, and reminds us that what we carry through life matters.
Start with bismillah.
Give each child a small bundle of sticks (or rolled-up newspapers) and ask them to carry it around the room. Ask: "Is it heavy? What else do people 'carry' that isn't in their hands, like kind words or unkind words?"
Watch the video of leaf-cutter ants carrying pieces of leaf much bigger than themselves.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does this ayah talk about, and what is she carrying?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can words be heavy?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Masad is surah 111. Find ayah 4. Who does ayah 1 talk about, and who does ayah 4 talk about?
Fact: How many times its own weight can a leaf-cutter ant carry?
Ages 5–8: Carry relay. Carry one stick across the room, then a big bundle. Which was harder? What made it easier: going slowly, or getting help?
Ages 9–12: Words log. For one day, make a tally of the kind words and the unkind words you hear or say. What do you notice?
Finish with: "I found that I said ___ kind words today."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will carry ___ (a kind word, a helping hand) to ___, at ___."
Action: Do your plan daily, and notice how it feels.
