4-I guide
This ayah tells us that all his wealth and gains could not help a man who chose to fight against the truth.
Start with bismillah.
Pour some coins out of a money box. Ask: "What can money buy? What can't it buy?" Try to think of three things for each.
Watch the video about where gold comes from. Even the gold in the ground was made by Allah, long before anyone dug it up.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah say about his money?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah made the gold, who really owns it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Masad is surah 111. Find ayah 2. Which ayah before it tells us who this surah is about?
Fact: Where does the gold on Earth come from? The video has some clues.
Ages 5–8: Can money buy it? Sort picture cards into two piles: "money can buy" (a toy, a book) and "money can't buy" (a friend, a good night's sleep, a kind heart, the sunshine).
Ages 9–12: Interview a grandparent or an older relative: "What do you value most now, and why?" Write down their answer. Is it something money can buy?
Finish with: "I found that ___ can't be bought with money."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share ___ (something I have) with ___."
Action: Practise your plan this week.
