4-I guide
This ayah states that those people did not worship what the Prophet (peace be upon him) worshipped; it reminds us that faith lives in the heart, and the Quran says there is no forcing in religion (2:256).
Start with bismillah.
Show a seed planted in a small pot. Ask: "Can we make this seed grow faster by pulling on it? What can we do instead?"
Watch the video of plants growing and spreading, sped up so we can see them move.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah tell us about those people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who makes hearts and seeds grow?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kafirun is surah 109. Find ayah 3. There is another ayah in this surah with exactly the same words in the translation. Can you find it?
Fact: What does a seed need to sprout?
Ages 5–8: Plant two seeds (beans or chickpeas work well). Water them gently and count the days until each one sprouts. What did the seeds need from you, and what could only Allah give them?
Ages 9–12: Light test. Put one seed pot in sunlight and one in a dark cupboard, and water both. Compare them after a week.
Finish with: "I found that seeds need ___ to grow."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be a good example to ___ by ___."
Action: Practise your plan this week.
