4-I guide
This ayah opens Surah Al-Kafirun, which teaches Muslims to be clear about their faith.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If a friend asked you what you believe, could you explain it clearly and kindly?"
Watch the first few minutes of the video about humpback whales. Their songs carry far through the ocean, and other whales can hear and answer.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "This ayah begins with an instruction. What is the Prophet told to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be clear about my faith and kind at the same time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kafirun is surah 109, and it has six ayat. Find ayah 1. It begins with the instruction "Say". Which other surahs near the end of the Quran also begin that way?
Fact: How far can a humpback whale's song travel through the sea?
Ages 5–8: Practise saying "I am a Muslim, and I believe in Allah" in a calm, friendly voice. How should your face and voice look when you say it?
Ages 9–12: Write a short, kind answer (three sentences) to the question "What do Muslims believe?" Read it to a parent and ask for one suggestion.
Finish with: "I found that ___ surahs near the end of the Quran begin with 'Say'."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "If someone asks me about my faith this week, I will answer kindly with ___."
Action: Practise your plan whenever someone asks.
