4-I guide
The last ayah of Surah Al-Kawthar comforts the Prophet: the one who hated and mocked him is the one cut off from good.
Start with bismillah.
The day before, put one flower in a glass of water and leave another one lying on the table. Ask: "What happened to the flower that was cut off from water?"
Watch the video about how trees in a forest are linked together underground, sharing water and food through tiny threads of fungi.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How do you think this ayah made the Prophet feel?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What keeps me connected to good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kawthar is surah 108. Find ayah 3, the last ayah of the shortest surah. Read all three ayat together: what does each one give us?
Fact: How do fungi connect the trees in a forest?
Ages 5–8: Flower test. Draw the two flowers, the one in water and the one without, after one day and after two days. What do you notice?
Ages 9–12: Celery test. Stand a stick of celery in a glass of water with food colouring. Check it after a few hours and again the next day. Where did the colour travel?
Finish with: "I found that the flower without water ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when someone is unkind to me, I will ___."
Action: Practise your plan this week.

Food colouring stains: cover the table, and an adult cuts the celery.
