4-I guide
This ayah tells the Prophet that Allah has given him Al-Kawthar, a gift of great abundance.
Start with bismillah.
Stand a cup on a tray and keep pouring water into it until it overflows. Ask: "What does it look like when there is more than enough?"
Watch the short video flying over Angel Falls, the tallest waterfall in the world. Imagine how much water pours over it every second!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What gift does this ayah talk about?" Write down any questions about Al-Kawthar to ask your teacher or an ustaz/ustazah.
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the biggest gift Allah has given me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kawthar is surah 108. It is the shortest surah in the whole Quran. Count its ayat and its words in the Arabic.
Fact: How tall is Angel Falls? Compare it with the tallest building you know.
Ages 5–8: Blessings waterfall. Draw a big waterfall. In each drop, draw or write one blessing Allah has given you.
Ages 9–12: Blessings count. Set a timer for five minutes and list every blessing you can think of. Then sort them into groups (body, family, food, nature, learning…). Which group is biggest?
Finish with: "I counted ___ blessings in five minutes."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one of my blessings, ___, with ___."
Action: Practise your plan this week.

Do the overflowing-cup activity on a tray, and wipe up spills straight away.
