4-I guide
This ayah describes someone who does not encourage others to feed people in need, and teaches us to care about the hungry.
Start with bismillah.
Open the fridge or the food cupboard together. Ask: "How many days could our family eat from this? What would it be like if it was empty?"
Watch the Deep Look video about honeypot ants. Some ants fill up with nectar and feed the rest of the colony when food runs short.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should this person have encouraged others to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why don't some people have enough to eat?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'un is surah 107. Find ayah 3. The ayah talks about encouraging others, not only giving yourself. Can you see that in the translation?
Fact: About how many people in the world don't have enough food to eat every day?
Look it up with a grown-up.
Ages 5–8: Food bag. Choose three food items your family can give (rice, tins, dates) and pack them in a bag for a food bank or a neighbour.
Ages 9–12: Plan a small food drive with friends or neighbours. Make a poster that encourages others to give, and count how many items you collect.
Finish with: "I found that our family or class collected ___ food items."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will encourage ___ to help feed people in need by ___."
Action: Put your plan into action, then tell someone how it went.
