ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍۢ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ
Alladhī 'aṭ'ʻamahum mmin jūʻin wa'āmanahum mmin' khaw'fin
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).

The last ayah of Surah Quraysh reminds us that it is Allah who feeds people when they are hungry and keeps them safe from fear.
Start with bismillah.
Ask everyone to name one thing they ate today, and one thing that made them feel safe today.
Watch the BBC Earth video about how squirrels find food, even food they hid months ago.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two gifts does this ayah talk about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who makes sure the squirrels and I have food?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Quraysh is surah 106. Find ayah 4, the last one. Find the two pairs in the translation: one about food and one about fear.
Fact: How do squirrels remember where they buried their nuts?
Ages 5–8: Gratitude placemat. On a sheet of paper, draw your favourite meal on one side and the place where you feel safest on the other. Use it at dinner this week.
Ages 9–12: Family survey. Ask everyone at home: "What is one food you're thankful for? What helps you feel safe?" Make a chart of the answers.
Finish with: "I found that our family is most thankful for ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "At ___ this week, I will thank Allah for my food and my safety, and share ___ with ___."
Action: Give your plan a go every day this week.
