4-I guide
This ayah tells the Quraysh to worship the Lord of this House, the Kaaba in Makkah.
Start with bismillah.
Show a photo of the Kaaba. Ask: "Which way do we face when we pray? Why do Muslims all over the world face the same place?"
Watch the short video of Makkah seen from the International Space Station, high above the Earth.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which house is this ayah talking about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How many people face the Kaaba every day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Quraysh is surah 106. Find ayah 3. Which word in the translation tells us there is a special house?
Fact: How far is your home from Makkah?
Look it up on a map with a grown-up.
Ages 5–8: On a world map, draw lines from five different countries to Makkah. Do the lines all point to the same place?
Ages 9–12: Look at the old qibla diagram in the picture. Long ago, Muslim scientists worked out the direction of Makkah from many cities. Use a compass or a qibla app to find the qibla direction from your home.
Finish with: "I found that our home is about ___ km from Makkah."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, before ___ prayer, I will find the qibla myself and remember ___."
Action: Keep to your plan all week, and tick it off each day.
