4-I guide
This ayah opens Surah Al-Fil by asking us to think about what Allah did with the people who came with an elephant.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the biggest, strongest animal you can think of? What could stop it?"
Watch the National Geographic video about elephants: how big they are, how strong they are, and how they live.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What animal is named in this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would an army bring an elephant?" Younger children can draw theirs. Write it down to ask a teacher or an ustaz/ustazah.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fil is surah 105, and it has five ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah's name means "the elephant". Can you find that word in the translation?
Fact: How heavy is a fully grown African elephant?
Ages 5–8: Weight compare. Find out how many children weigh the same as one elephant. Draw an elephant and fill it with that many stick children!
Ages 9–12: Elephant facts. Find three facts about elephants' strength (what they can lift, push or carry). Then talk: is anything stronger than an elephant?
Finish with: "I found that an elephant weighs about the same as ___ children."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "When I feel small or weak this week, I will remember ___ and make dua at ___."
Action: Try your plan whenever you feel small or worried this week.
