4-I guide
The last ayah of Surah Al-Humazah mentions long columns stretched out, closing the surah's warning.
Start with bismillah.
If your children are young, focus on the three lessons of the whole surah rather than on this ayah's picture of the Fire.
Roll three sheets of paper into tubes (columns) and tape them. Stand a book on top, then another and another. Ask: "How many books can three paper columns hold?"
Watch the short film about Devils Postpile, where cooling lava cracked into tall stone columns.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is mentioned at the end of this surah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the most important lesson of Surah Al-Humazah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Humazah is surah 104. Find ayah 9, the last one. Read all nine ayat in the translation. Who did the surah begin by warning?
Fact: How did lava cool into six-sided stone columns at Devils Postpile?
Ages 5–8: Paper columns. Test how many books three paper columns can hold. Then try square columns (folded). Which hold more?
Ages 9–12: Surah map. Write the nine ayat of Surah Al-Humazah as three parts: the mocker, his money, and the warning. Which ayat go in each part?
Finish with: "I found that round paper columns held ___ books."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise one lesson from Surah Al-Humazah: ___, at ___."
Action: Stick with your plan for seven days.
