4-I guide
This ayah describes the Fire closing over them, a reminder to turn back to Allah while the door is still open.
Start with bismillah.
With younger children, the message can simply be: say sorry and come back to Allah while there is time.
Ask: "Have you ever been told 'the shop closes at six'? What happens if you get there at five past six?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of the Venus flytrap. Its leaves stay open, then snap shut very fast.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah say happens?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I make sure I turn back to Allah in time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Humazah is surah 104. Find ayah 8. It is one of the shortest ayat in the surah. Count its words in the Arabic.
Fact: How does a Venus flytrap know when to snap shut?
Ages 5–8: Snap game. One person is the flytrap with open hands; the other touches a "trigger hair" (a finger) twice to make it snap. Why do you think it waits for two touches?
Ages 9–12: Find out why the Venus flytrap needs two touches before it closes. What does this protect it from?
Finish with: "I found that a Venus flytrap closes after ___ touches."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "Today, at ___, I will ask Allah for forgiveness and say sorry to ___."
Action: Put your plan into action, then tell someone how it went.
