4-I guide
This ayah warns people who mock others and speak badly about them behind their backs.
Start with bismillah.
Squeeze a little toothpaste onto a plate. Now try to put it back into the tube. Ask: "Can we take it back? What about unkind words once we've said them?"
Watch the BBC Earth Science video of water drops, filmed so the drops seem to float and fall upwards.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of person is this ayah warning?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people make fun of others?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Humazah is surah 104, and it has nine ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah's name comes from a word in this ayah. What does that word describe?
Fact: When a drop falls into still water, how far can its ripples spread?
Ages 5–8: Ripple test. Drop one pebble into a bowl of still water. Watch the rings. Talk: how is a word like a pebble?
Ages 9–12: Kind-words challenge. For one day, every time you want to say something unkind about someone, say something kind instead, and keep a tally.
Finish with: "I found that one drop made ___ rings."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I hear someone being mocked, I will ___."
Action: Try your plan out each day this week.
