4-I guide
This ayah tells us that on that Day even the great mountains will be like fluffed-up wool.
Start with bismillah.
Hold a rock in one hand and a ball of cotton wool or sheep's wool in the other. Ask: "Which is stronger? What would it take to make a rock as soft as wool?"
Watch the British Geological Survey video about how mountains are made over millions of years.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will the mountains become?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If mountains can become like wool, what is truly strong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qari'ah is surah 101. Find ayah 5. Which two things are compared in the translation?
Fact: How long does it take for a mountain like Everest to form?
Ages 5–8: Wool pull. Gently pull apart a cotton wool ball until it's light and fluffy. How big can you make it?
Ages 9–12: Find out what "carding" wool means. If you can, comb a little wool between two brushes and see how it changes.
Finish with: "I found that one cotton ball can stretch to ___ cm."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will rely on Allah, the truly Strong, when ___."
Action: Give your plan a go every day this week.
