يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Yaw'ma'idhin yaṣ'duru nnāssu 'ash'tātan lliyuraw' 'aʻ'mālahum'
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).

This ayah says that on that Day people will come out in scattered groups to be shown what they did.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been in a huge crowd, like at Eid prayer? How did it feel?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of millions of monarch butterflies gathering in the forests of Mexico.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How will people come out, and why?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will I be shown on that Day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zalzalah is surah 99. Find ayah 6. The key word ashtatan means in separate, scattered groups.
Fact: How far do monarch butterflies fly to reach Mexico?
Ages 5–8: Sort into groups. Tip out a box of buttons, beads or blocks and sort them into groups. How many ways can you sort them?
Ages 9–12: Migration map. Draw the monarchs' route from Canada to Mexico. Mark how many kilometres it is and how long it takes.
Finish with: "I found that monarchs fly about ___ km."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do ___ so I'll be happy to see it on that Day."
Action: Show someone at home your migration map.
