وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
Wa mā tafarraqa -lladhīna 'ūtū l-kitāba 'illā min[m] baʻ'di mā jā'at'humu l-bayyinatu
Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence.

This ayah says that people who had been given scripture only split apart after the clear evidence came to them.
Start with bismillah.
Hold one dry spaghetti strand and snap it. Then try to snap ten together. Ask: "Why is the bundle harder to break?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of thousands of small fish forming a giant ball to stay safe.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When did these people split up?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people sometimes split up even when the truth is clear?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Bayyinah is surah 98. Find ayah 4. Look for the words "clear evidence" again. They appeared in ayah 1 too!
Fact: How do fish in a shoal know which way to turn together?
Ages 5–8: Shoal game. Everyone stands close together. One leader turns, and everyone must turn the same way quickly. Swap leaders.
Ages 9–12: Find three animals that stay safe by sticking together. Explain what would happen if one swam or ran off alone.
Finish with: "I found that fish stay safe by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when we disagree at home, I will ___ to keep us together."
Action: Make up after an argument quickly.
