Start with bismillah.

Hide a sweet and leave a trail of clues to it. Ask: "How did you know where to look? What made the clue clear?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were people waiting for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes proof really clear?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Bayyinah is surah 98, and it has eight ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah is named after the key word al-bayyinah, which means "the clear evidence".

Fact: Are any two people's fingerprints exactly the same?

Ages 5–8: Fingerprint art. Press your thumb on a washable ink pad (or rub a pencil on paper and touch it), then print it. Compare with everyone at home.

Ages 9–12: Detective work. Look at your prints with a magnifying glass. Is yours a loop, a whorl or an arch? Make a family chart.

Finish with: "I found that my fingerprint is a ___."

Talk together:

• Why do people need clear proof before they change?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Your fingerprint is clear proof that you're you. What clear signs of Allah can you see around you?
• How do we treat people kindly while they are still searching?
• What would you like to ask an ustaz or ustazah about this surah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will notice three clear signs of Allah, and write them down."

• Keep a "Signs I Noticed" list all week.
• Make a family fingerprint poster.
• Tell someone at home that no one else in the world has your fingerprint.
• Next time: the next ayah (98:2) tells us what the clear evidence was. Explore it together!
