4-I guide
This ayah says that Allah then returned human beings to the lowest of the low.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: scholars explain this ayah in more than one way. Keep it simple and hopeful, because the next ayah has good news.
Drop a pebble into a tall glass of water. Ask: "Where does it end up? Can it climb back up by itself?"
Watch the Discover Magazine video about the Mariana Trench, the deepest place in the ocean.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does this ayah say people can end up?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can someone made so finely end up so low?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tin is surah 95. Find ayah 5. Read ayat 4 and 5 together: the finest form, then the lowest of the low. Allah made us in the finest form, but a person who turns away from Allah can sink very, very low. Scholars say this means the lowest place in the Hereafter for those who reject Allah, and some add it also means growing weak and helpless in old age. But ayah 6 gives the good news: those who believe and do good are never left low.
Fact: How deep is the deepest point in the ocean?
Ages 5–8: Up and down. Draw a ladder from the deepest sea to the highest sky. Put a fish at the bottom and a bird at the top.
Ages 9–12: Depth chart. Compare the depth of the Mariana Trench with the height of Mount Everest. Which is bigger?
Finish with: "I found that the deepest ocean is about ___ km deep."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep myself 'high' by ___."
Action: Keep doing the good habits that lift you up.
