4-I guide
This ayah reminds the Prophet ﷺ that Allah found him in need and made him rich.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you need most if you lived in a hot, dry place for months?"
Watch the Peace Parks video about the baobab, a tree that stores water in its huge trunk for the dry season.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah change for the Prophet ﷺ?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who makes sure every living thing has what it needs?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Duha is surah 93. Find ayah 8. The key word 'a'ilan means someone in need, and aghna means made rich, with enough and more.
Fact: How much water can a big baobab store in its trunk?
Ages 5–8: Sponge tree. Soak a sponge in water, then leave it in the sun. Squeeze it after an hour. Is there still water inside?
Ages 9–12: Water savers. Find three plants or animals that store water (baobab, cactus, camel). How does each one do it?
Finish with: "I found that a baobab stores water ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help someone in need by ___."
Action: Keep your helping plan.
