4-I guide
This ayah says this person isn't repaying anyone a favour when they give.
Start with bismillah.
Take a deep breath in and out. Ask: "Where did that fresh air come from? Did you pay for it?"
Watch the Learn Bright video about photosynthesis: how plants make food and give out oxygen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Is this person giving to pay someone back?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Do plants know they're helping us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Layl is surah 92. Find ayah 19. It tells us the giving is not to repay a favour, so it isn't a swap.
Fact: What do plants need to make their own food?
Ages 5–8: Bubble leaf. Put a fresh leaf in a bowl of water in bright sunshine. After an hour, look closely. Can you see tiny bubbles?
Ages 9–12: Swap or gift? Make two lists: things we do expecting something back, and things we do only for Allah. How could you move one thing from the first list to the second?
Finish with: "I found that plants give out ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help ___ and not tell anyone about it."
Action: Do your secret helping plan.
