4-I guide
This ayah says: whoever purifies their soul has truly succeeded.
Start with bismillah.
Fill a jar with muddy water. Ask: "How could we make it clear again?"
Watch the University of Maryland video showing how oysters clean cloudy water.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is successful in this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I clean my heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shams is surah 91. Find ayah 9. The key words aflaha (succeeded) and zakkaha (purified it) are here. They're related to the word zakah.
Fact: How much water can one oyster filter in a day?
Ages 5–8: Settle it. Leave your muddy jar still for a day. What happens to the mud? Gently pour the clear water into another jar.
Ages 9–12: Heart cleaners. Make a list of things that "clean" the soul (dhikr, saying sorry, charity, prayer). Which do you do most?
Finish with: "I found that one oyster can filter ___ of water a day."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will clean my heart by ___ every day."
Action: Do your heart-cleaning habit daily.
