4-I guide
This ayah reminds the Prophet ﷺ that he lives in this very city.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a place feel like home? Is it the building or the people?"
Watch the short video about white storks that fly thousands of kilometres and still find their own nest again.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who lived in this city?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does a stork know which nest is its home?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Balad is surah 90. Find ayah 2. The key word hillun has more than one meaning. Ask your teacher how scholars explain it.
Fact: How far do white storks fly each year before coming home?
Ages 5–8: Home map. Draw your home and label your favourite spot. Why is it your favourite?
Ages 9–12: Migration route. Draw the path a white stork flies from Europe to Africa and back. Measure it with the map's scale.
Finish with: "I found that white storks fly about ___ km."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make our home nicer by ___."
Action: Say a dua when you leave home and when you come back.
