لَقَدِ ٱبْتَغَوُا۟ ٱلْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَٰرِهُونَ
Laqadi (i)b'taghawu l-fit'nata min qab'lu waqallabū laka l-'umūra ḥattā jā'a l-ḥaqqu waẓahara 'am'ru -llahi wahum' kārihūna
Indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the Truth arrived, and the Decree of Allah became manifest much to their disgust.

They had tried to stir up trouble before and twisted matters against the Prophet, until the truth came and Allah's command won, even though they hated it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do tricks ever win in the end?"
Play the short At-Tawbah clip of ayat 41–50 from MUSLIM BOOK.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What came in the end?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does truth always win?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 48. At Uhud and other times, some hypocrites tried to weaken the Muslims. Their plans failed and Allah's command prevailed. Truth may be tested, but it wins.
Fact: How many people went back with 'Abdullah ibn Ubayy before the Battle of Uhud (about a third of the army).
Ages 5–8: Truth wins. Tell a story where honesty won in the end.
Ages 9–12: Uhud. Write what happened when some turned back before Uhud.
Finish with: "About a ___ of the army turned back before Uhud."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stick with the truth even if it's hard."
Action: Stick with the truth even if it's hard.
