عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَتَعْلَمَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
ʻafā -llahu ʻanka lima 'adhinta lahum' ḥattā yatabayyana laka -lladhīna ṣadaqū wataʻ'lama l-kādhibīna
Allah give thee grace! why didst thou grant them until those who told the truth were seen by thee in a clear light, and thou hadst proved the liars?

Allah gently told the Prophet that He had pardoned him, and asked why he had let them stay behind before it was clear who was truthful and who was lying.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel when someone corrects you kindly?"
USRAH ILMU STUDIO posted a short recitation of ayat 41–47 of At-Tawbah. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah say first, before the question?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah begin with forgiveness?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 43. The Prophet kindly let some people stay behind. Allah taught him a lesson but started with 'Allah has pardoned you'. This shows how to correct someone: begin with kindness.
Fact: How many times the Qur'an gently corrects the Prophet, like in 'Abasa 80:1.
Ages 5–8: Kind correction. Practise telling someone a mistake kindly.
Ages 9–12: Kind first. Write how to correct a friend gently.
Finish with: "Allah began with: Allah has ___ you."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will correct others gently, starting with something kind."
Action: Correct others gently, starting with something kind.
