Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What would you give up for something you love?"

Settle down and play the start of Saud Al-Shuraim's At-Tawbah (SimpleQuran).

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things did they do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did the companions leave their homes?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 20. The Muhajirun left Makkah, their houses and their wealth for Allah. They worked hard for Islam with their money and energy. Allah gave them the highest rank.

Fact: Who the Muhajirun were.

Ages 5–8: Give something. Give a toy or book you like to someone who needs it.

Ages 9–12: Muhajirun. Write the name of one Muhajir and what they gave up.

Finish with: "The Muhajirun left ___ for Madinah."

Talk together:

• Who has the highest rank?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What did they give up?
• What can you give for Allah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will give something I like for Allah's sake."
