Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Is one good deed always as big as another?"

Play the short clip from Islam official146 of Syed Saleem reciting ayat 11–20 of At-Tawbah.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two deeds are compared?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is faith worth more than good deeds without it?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 19. The Quraysh were proud of giving water to pilgrims. That was good, but faith in Allah and striving for His sake are greater. Good deeds count most when they come from faith.

Ages 5–8: Water kindness. Offer water to your family today.

Ages 9–12: Faith first. Write why faith makes deeds count.

Finish with: "Zamzam first flowed for Hajar and ___."
