Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they mix?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is admitting mistakes important?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 102. Some companions stayed behind but then admitted their mistake honestly. They had good and bad deeds. Allah gave them hope. Admitting our mistakes is the first step back.

Ages 5–8: Own up. Practise saying 'I made a mistake'.

Ages 9–12: Mixed deeds. Write why honesty about mistakes brings hope.

Finish with: "Abu Lubabah tied himself to a ___ in the masjid."

Talk together:

• What did they admit?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why is admitting mistakes good?
• What mistake can you own up to?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will own up to my mistakes."

• Admit mistakes.
• Say 'I was wrong'.
• Allah gives hope.
