4-I guide
This ayah asks: have you not seen what your Lord did with the people of 'Ad?
Start with bismillah.
Look at a picture of a huge desert. Ask: "Do you think people ever lived here long ago?"
Watch the short Yalla Abu Dhabi video about Rub' al-Khali, the Empty Quarter, the biggest sand desert in the world.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which people does this ayah ask us to think about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who were the people of 'Ad?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fajr is surah 89. Find ayah 6. The people of 'Ad lived long, long ago. They were very strong, but they became proud. Ask your teacher about their prophet, Hud (peace be upon him).
Fact: How big is the Empty Quarter desert?
Ages 5–8: Sand pictures. Draw a desert with dunes. What would you need to live there?
Ages 9–12: Find the Empty Quarter on a map. Which countries does it cover? How much rain does it get in a year?
Finish with: "I found that the Empty Quarter is about ___ square km."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for my strength by using it to ___."
Action: Use your strength to help someone carry something.
