4-I guide
This ayah warns: no! When the earth is ground down, crushed and crushed again…
Start with bismillah.
For parents: this ayah describes the Day of Judgement. Read it together, then jump ahead to the happy ending in ayat 27 to 30.
Rub two rough stones together over a sheet of paper. Ask: "What's falling onto the paper?"
Watch the Crash Course Kids video about weathering and erosion.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will happen to the earth on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can even mountains be worn away?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fajr is surah 89. Find ayah 21. The key words dakkan dakka mean crushed and crushed again, ground down completely.
Fact: How long does it take wind and water to wear down a mountain?
Ages 5–8: Shake test. Put some sugar cubes in a jar with a few pebbles and shake for a minute. What happens to the cubes?
Ages 9–12: Erosion detective. Look for signs of erosion near you: worn steps, smooth stones, crumbling walls. Photograph or draw three.
Finish with: "I found that erosion is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed for the Hereafter: ___."
Action: Do your good deed for the Hereafter.
