4-I guide
This ayah warns that Allah will punish such a person with the greatest punishment.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: keep this short. Spend most of the time on Allah's mercy and on saying sorry.
Ask: "What's the most powerful weather you've ever seen?"
Watch the Met Office video about tornadoes and where they happen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah warn about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah is so powerful, how can I always be on His side?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ghashiyah is surah 88. Find ayah 24. The key words al-'adhab al-akbar mean the greatest punishment. Allah warns so that we can turn back in time.
Fact: How do scientists warn people when a big storm is coming?
Ages 5–8: Storm in a bottle. Fill a bottle with water, add a drop of washing-up liquid, close it and swirl. Watch the "tornado".
Ages 9–12: Warning systems. Find out how weather warnings work in your country (colours, levels). Why are warnings a kindness?
Finish with: "I found that weather warnings help people by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah every night before sleeping."
Action: Say astaghfirullah every night before sleeping.
During a storm warning, stay indoors and listen to the grown-ups.
