4-I guide
In that Fire, a person will neither die nor truly live.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: keep this ayah calm and short. The next ayah brings good news.
Ask: "Who decides when something lives and when it dies?"
Listen to Mishary Alafasy recite Surah Al-A'la. Can you hear the hopeful ayah that comes straight after this one?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah say about life and death there?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah tell us this?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'la is surah 87. Find ayah 13. The key words la yamutu fiha wa la yahya mean he will neither die in it nor live. Life and death are only in Allah's hands.
Fact: What does ayah 14 say about who succeeds?
Ages 5–8: Morning thank-you. When you wake up, look at the morning sky and say alhamdulillah for a new day of life.
Ages 9–12: Ways to stay clean inside. Read ayat 14 and 15 and list three ways to keep your heart clean and remember Allah today.
Finish with: "I found that ayah 14 says ___."

This is one of the Quran's most serious warnings. Allah alone gives life and death, and the details of that Day are His. The very next ayah tells us the way to safety: whoever purifies themselves and remembers Allah succeeds. So let us do that today.
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah each morning for the gift of life."
Action: Thank Allah each morning for the gift of life.
