4-I guide
Allah asks a question to make us wonder: do you know what the night visitor is?
Start with bismillah.
Hide a small object in a bag. Let everyone guess what it is before you show it. Ask: "Did the question make you want to know more?"
Watch NASA Goddard's short video about pulsars, stars that flash like a lighthouse.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask us here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah teach us with questions?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tariq is surah 86. Find ayah 2. The key words wa ma adraka mean "and what will make you know?" This kind of question appears in several surahs, just before Allah explains something important.
Fact: What is a pulsar, and how was the first one discovered?
Ages 5–8: Flashing star. In a dark room, cover and uncover a torch again and again. That's a little like a pulsar's flash.
Ages 9–12: Question hunt. Find two other surahs in Juz 'Amma that use the same question. What does each one explain next?
Finish with: "I found that a pulsar ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask one good question about something I read in the Quran."
Action: Ask one good question about something you read in the Quran.
