Yet those who disbelieve are still busy denying the truth.
Start with bismillah.
Cover your eyes with your hands. Ask: "If I can't see the table, has it gone away?"
Watch the Born With Wings video about whether ostriches really bury their heads in the sand.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the disbelievers keep doing?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people deny something that's true?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Buruj is surah 85. Find ayah 19. The key words fi takdhib mean in denial: calling the truth a lie. Even after hearing the stories of Pharaoh and Thamud, some people still refuse to listen.
Fact: What is an ostrich really doing when its head is near the ground?
Ages 5–8: Myth or fact? Ask your family three animal "facts" (like the ostrich one). Check each one in a book. Which are true?
Ages 9–12: Myth buster. Find out where the ostrich myth came from. Write a short "myth vs fact" card.
Finish with: "I found that ostriches put their heads down to ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I'm shown I'm wrong, I will say: 'You're right, thank you.'"
Action: This week, when you're shown you're wrong, say: 'You're right, thank you.'.
