4-I guide
Allah does whatever He wills.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who decides when winter turns to spring?"
Watch the California Academy of Sciences video about why we have seasons.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can anything stop what Allah wills?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Buruj is surah 85. Find ayah 16. The key words fa''alun lima yurid mean "the One who always does what He wills". Nothing can stop Allah, and everything He does is wise.
Fact: Why does the Earth have seasons?
Ages 5–8: Season wheel. Divide a paper plate into four parts. Draw the same tree in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Ages 9–12: Tilt test. Shine a torch straight down on paper, then at a slant. Which spot is brighter and smaller? Link it to summer and winter.
Finish with: "I found that we have seasons because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say in sha Allah whenever I talk about the future."
Action: Say in sha Allah whenever you talk about the future.
