4-I guide
You will surely move on from one stage to the next.
Start with bismillah.
Look at photos of yourself as a baby, a toddler and now. Ask: "How many stages have you already passed through?"
Watch National Geographic's "Butterfly: A Life".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will happen to us?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What's my next stage?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Inshiqaq is surah 84. Find ayah 19. The key words tabaqan 'an tabaq mean stage after stage. Scholars explain it as the stages of life, from birth to death to the Hereafter.
Fact: What are the four stages of a butterfly's life?
Ages 5–8: Life wheel. Draw the four stages of a butterfly in a circle: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly.
Ages 9–12: My stages. Make a timeline of your life stages so far, and add the stages still to come, all the way to the Hereafter.
Finish with: "I found that a butterfly's four stages are ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one grown-up job to get ready for my next stage."
Action: Do one grown-up job to get ready for your next stage.
