But the person who is given their record from behind their back…
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: ayat 10 to 15 are a warning. Keep it calm and remind children that every day is a chance to do good.
Ask: "Can you see what's behind you right now without turning?"
Watch the Gibson Branch video about how rabbits see the world. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How is this person given their record?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why behind the back?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Inshiqaq is surah 84. Find ayah 10. The key words wara'a zahrihi mean behind his back. Scholars explain that this is a sign of shame for someone who turned their back on Allah's guidance.
Fact: How much of the world around it can a rabbit see without moving its head?
Ages 5–8: Side-eye test. Look straight ahead. Have someone slowly bring a toy from behind you. When can you first see it?
Ages 9–12: Eye positions. Compare animals with eyes on the sides (rabbits, horses) and in front (owls, cats). Why the difference?
Finish with: "I found that a rabbit can see ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will face good things, not turn away from them."
Action: Face good things, not turn away from them.
