4-I guide
It is a spring from which those brought near to Allah drink.
Start with bismillah.
Pour muddy water through a coffee filter or cloth. Ask: "How did it get cleaner?"
Watch The Nature Conservancy's video "How Nature Makes Clean Water".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who drinks from this spring?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be one of those brought near?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 28. The key word al-muqarrabun appears again (look back at ayah 21). Those brought near to Allah drink straight from Tasnim.
Fact: How do forests and soil help to clean water?
Ages 5–8: Filter test. Make a filter in a cut plastic bottle with cotton wool, sand and gravel. Pour muddy water through. What comes out?
Ages 9–12: Water journey. Find out how rainwater is cleaned on its way through the ground to a spring.
Finish with: "I found that soil and sand clean water by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one deed that brings me nearer to Allah: ___."
Action: Do your "nearer to Allah" deed.

Never drink water from your homemade filter. It is only an experiment.
