Its seal is musk, so for this let everyone who wants to compete, compete.
Start with bismillah.
Smell a flower, a herb or some fruit. Ask: "Why do lovely smells make us want to come closer?"
Watch the Curiously Kids video "Why Do Flowers Smell Nice?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should people compete for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I race to do good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 26. The key words fal-yatanafas al-mutanafisun mean "let those who compete, compete for this". Allah tells us what's really worth racing for: Jannah.
Fact: Why do flowers make scent, and who is it for?
Ages 5–8: Smell test. Close your eyes. Can you guess five things just by smelling them (orange, mint, soap, bread, rose)?
Ages 9–12: Scent signals. Find out how bees use smell to find flowers, and how flowers "advertise" with scent.
Finish with: "I found that flowers smell nice to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will race my family to do one good deed first every day."
Action: Race your family to do one good deed first every day.
