4-I guide
Allah asks: what will make you understand what 'Illiyyin is?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How high does the sky go? Where does space begin?"
Watch the Smile and Learn video about the layers of the atmosphere.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How high is 'Illiyyin?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 19. Allah asks the same kind of question He asked about Sijjin in ayah 8. Both are part of the unseen, and we only know about them because Allah tells us.
Fact: What are the layers of the atmosphere called, from the ground up?
Ages 5–8: Sky layers. Stack coloured paper strips to make the layers of the sky. Label where clouds, planes and the space station are.
Ages 9–12: How high? Find out the height of each atmosphere layer and draw them to scale.
Finish with: "I found that the layers of the atmosphere are ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will aim high in one good thing: ___."
Action: Aim high in one good thing.
