They will be told: this is what you used to call a lie.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been warned about rain, ignored it, and got soaked?"
Watch NASA's video about how satellites track hurricanes. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will they be told?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't they believe the warning?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 17. The key word tukadhdhibun means you used to deny it. What they called a lie will be right in front of them.
Fact: How many days ahead can scientists warn people about a hurricane?
Ages 5–8: Weather warning. Watch the weather forecast with your family for a week. Was it right?
Ages 9–12: Hurricane path. Find out how hurricanes get their names and how forecasters draw their path.
Finish with: "I found that hurricanes can be tracked ___ days ahead."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will act on one reminder from the Quran or my parents straight away."
Action: Act on one reminder from the Quran or your parents straight away.
