4-I guide
These are the ones who deny the Day of Judgement.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which birds leave your country in winter? Do they come back?"
Watch the Biopassionate video about the arctic tern's journey.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What exactly do they deny?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If birds always return, why do people doubt our return?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 11. The key words yawm ad-din mean the Day of Judgement, the Day of being paid back for deeds. You say these words in Surah Al-Fatihah in every prayer!
Fact: How far does an arctic tern fly every year?
Ages 5–8: Migration map. Draw a map with the North and South Poles. Draw the tern's journey from one to the other and back.
Ages 9–12: Return trips. Find three animals that return to the same place every year. How do they find it?
Finish with: "I found that an arctic tern flies about ___ kilometres a year."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about the meaning when I say 'maliki yawm ad-din' in salah."
Action: Think about the meaning when you say 'maliki yawm ad-din' in salah.
