Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is there anything so strong that even light can't escape it?"
Watch National Geographic's "Black Holes 101".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Can they get away?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay safe from it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Infitar is surah 82. Find ayah 16. The key words bi-gha'ibin mean able to be absent, able to get away. No one can escape the result of their deeds, except by Allah's mercy. That's why we choose good now.
Fact: Why can't even light escape from a black hole?
Ages 5–8: Pull test. Roll a marble near a strong magnet (or into a bowl). What happens when it gets close?
