4-I guide
This ayah speaks of the time when the baby girl who was wronged will be asked about what happened to her.
Start with bismillah.
A note for parents: please read ayat 8 and 9 yourself first. Long ago, before Islam, some people did a terrible wrong to baby girls. Keep the talk short and gentle. For young children, it is enough to say that some babies were treated very badly long ago, Islam stopped it, and Allah will make everything fair.
Ask: "How do mothers and fathers look after a new baby?"
Watch The Dodo's video about otter mothers looking after their babies.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will be asked on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah care so much about every baby?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Takwir is surah 81. Find ayah 8. The key word al-maw'udah refers to a baby girl who was wronged in a terrible way long ago. Islam ended this wrong and teaches that every girl is a gift from Allah.
Fact: How does a mother sea otter keep her baby safe and warm?
Ages 5–8: Caring for babies. Draw how different animal mothers carry their babies (otter, kangaroo, bird).
Ages 9–12: Islam and girls. With a parent, find out how Islam taught people to honour and care for daughters.
Finish with: "I found that mother otters keep their babies safe by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be extra kind to my sisters, mother or girls I know."
Action: Be extra kind to your sisters, mother or girls you know.
