4-I guide
It is for whichever of you wants to go straight.
Start with bismillah.
Put a plant on a windowsill for a few days. Ask: "Which way is it leaning? Why?"
Watch the Green Timelapse video of plants following the light.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is the Quran for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I keep going straight?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Takwir is surah 81. Find ayah 28. The key words an yastaqim mean to go straight. The Quran helps anyone who truly wants to stay on the straight path.
Fact: How does a plant "know" which way the light is?
Ages 5–8: Turn-around test. Put a pot of cress on a sunny windowsill. Each morning, mark which way it leans, then turn the pot round.
Ages 9–12: Plant hormones. Find out what auxin is and how it makes plants bend.
Finish with: "I found that plants grow towards light because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about 'ihdina as-sirat al-mustaqim' in every salah."
Action: Think about 'ihdina as-sirat al-mustaqim' in every salah.
