…and from their spouse and their children.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do baby spiders leave home?"
Watch National Geographic's video "Spiders Spin Balloons to Fly Away".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who else will people run from?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't families help each other on that Day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 36. The key words sahibatihi wa banih mean his wife and his children. On that Day, each person stands for their own deeds.
Fact: How do tiny spiders fly away on threads of silk?
Ages 5–8: Silk threads. Look for spider silk on grass on a misty morning. Draw what you find.
Ages 9–12: Ballooning. Find out how far ballooning spiders can travel.
Finish with: "I found that baby spiders fly by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, my family will do one good deed together."
Action: Do a family good deed together.
