Start with bismillah.
Hold a slice of bread. Ask: "What was this before it was bread?"
Watch the Twinkl video "The Life Cycle of Wheat".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What grows in the earth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does one seed become many grains?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 27. The key word habba means grain. Wheat, rice and corn feed most of the world, all from tiny seeds Allah makes grow.
Fact: How many grains can grow from one grain of wheat?
Ages 5–8: Grain hunt. Find five foods in your kitchen made from grain.
Ages 9–12: Bread steps. Find out every step from wheat field to bread.
Finish with: "I found that one grain of wheat can grow ___ grains."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give some food to someone in need."
Action: Give some food to someone in need.
